That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m cheery, goofy and definitely a laugher. I’m head-over-heels in love with my husband David (who may or may not come along to demonstrate with all his grace with some poses or direction I give during the shoot). But I’m also head over heels with being behind the camera. Sometimes in life you find something that just clicks (pun intended).
But you’ve probably read a hundred websites and all the photographers are talking about how they’re your best friend, your hype-person, how comfortable they’re gonna make you.
If you’ve come from the homepage, you probably think I’m all heavy-hearted and weepy-eyed and solemn.
You can trust you’ll look back on these photos in 10 years and be so thankful you had them done.
We are all complex, 3D people. We have lives, trauma, hopes, disappointments and victories. They make us. I’m here to preserve you, your day and your tender moments.
Often, the biggest moments are best preserved by looking at the small details.
